Scan. Assure. Build on.

Know the framing is right before the drywall goes up.

TruePlank™ is being built to check a framed room from a phone scan, find and measure every stud, and paint the answer on a 3D model of the house: green, yellow or red, member by member. It is still in development and testing.

TruePlank™ is in development

Checking every stud by hand is slow. We are building TruePlank™ to check every stud in one walk. It is still in development and testing.

Why it matters

Catch it while it’s cheap.

Before drywall

A stud out of plumb is a quick fix while the wall is open. After drywall it becomes a callback, a crack or a door that won’t close.

Every stud, not a sample

A level on a few studs is all a busy site has time for. The goal is a scan designed to check every stud in the walls it covers, in minutes.

One picture for everyone

The super, the framer and the QA manager look at the same model: which members to fix, and which are fine.

How it works

Scan, check, see.

1. Scan

A phone with LiDAR captures a framed room in a few minutes. Our scanning app guides the walk and records gravity, so plumb means plumb.

2. Check

The analysis is being built to find every stud and plate and measure plumb, level and square against the builder’s own tolerances.

3. See

Results are designed to show up painted on a 3D model of the house: green, yellow or red, member by member, with the numbers behind each colour.

Research

Tested before it’s claimed.

Before a product makes a claim, we test it: computer-built houses with known leans, real studs measured with a digital level, and next, whole framed houses on site. The full write-up is for builders and partners we work with.

Who it’s for

Built with builders.

Superintendents

Designed so you can scan a framed room with a phone and get a clear answer before the drywall crew arrives.

QA and warranty teams

Being built to give a record of how every wall measured, checked against the builder’s own tolerances.

Framing trades

Designed to show the exact members to adjust on the house, instead of a punch list to interpret.
